At the Central House of Writers (ЦДЛ) in Moscow on April 29, after the final screening of the film "Paris, I love you" the First National Film Festival was completed "Post Factum", started in the framework of the eponymous Film Award.
To win the nomination "The best film of 2006" the ten most sensational films of the past year were put forward. They are leaders in the world box office, prizewinners of the Cannes and XXVIII Moscow International Film Festivals, winners of prizes "Oscar", "Golden Globe" and other kinemade.
Traditionally, the fate of films – participants in the largest competitive programs is decided by several people from the expert jury. The main difference between the project "Post Factum" is that the audience itself acts as a jury.
Based on the results of the audience vote, the winner in the nomination "The best film of 2006" recognized Russian film "Island" Pavel Lungin. Among the announced nominees for the award – this is the only film produced domestically.
According to the percentage of online – voting on the site www.pf.cdlart.ru, on Internet resources www.kp.ru, www.zvkino.ru, and also on the results of voting at the CSD site during the festival days, the film "Island" the leader is 26.8%, in second place the film "Paris, I love you" – 18.1%, the third position was taken by the film "Memoirs of a Geisha" – 11.2%.
