The directors of the sports school in St. Petersburg were fired after the inspection found hordes of rats running in the locker rooms, as well as business in the walls of a budget institution.
The staff of the Children’s Ombudsman Svetlana Agapitova was contacted by a member of the SDUSHOR. The coach complained to the rats who are frivolously walking around the locker rooms, where the children dress for training. Through the rodents sometimes had to step over, complained to the teacher. From her words, the school leadership ignored complaints and refused to put surveillance cameras.
According to the woman, a lot of other events take place in the sports school, which have nothing to do with children’s sports. So, the applicant pointed to the dental office on the second floor next to the dressing room and the sewing workshop at the first. Both premises the director of the sports school allegedly rented out.
Business threatens the safety of schoolchildren, the coach said: regularly suspicious people appear in the building, and even homeless people wander in cold weather.
Svetlana Agapitova appealed to the district prosecutor’s office with a request to verify the facts stated in the statement and assess the legitimacy of the SDUSHOR leadership’s actions. St. Petersburg Rospotrebnadzor will be responsible for the anti-sanitation.
As a result, the director of SDUSHOR was fired, and the workshop and dentistry stopped working on the territory of the sports school.
