More than 10 years ago in South Korea was opened a very unusual and even, you can say, scandalous park Jeju Loveland. All that is on its territory, in a very frank form, reveals the theme of intimate life, and this is more than 140 sculptures, teaching films and a variety of artistic and interactive works. "No taboos, only the beauty of natural sexuality!"

Jeju Loveland is located on Jeju Island.
* No more taboos in sexual life! * – says the site of the park.
The park is called "a place where erotica meets with art aimed at love." Of course, some may say that such immoral sculptures have nothing to do with love. But here it is important to know the history of the creation of this park. After the Korean War, the island, where today Jeju Loveland is located, has become an extremely popular place for honeymoon and wedding ceremonies. Warm climate, beautiful landscapes – Korean newlyweds flew here, like bees on honey. However, the country’s traditions provided for the conclusion of marriages by agreement of the parents, and often the newly-made husband and wife saw each other for the first time at the wedding. Given that the knowledge of young Koreans about intimate life was at an unacceptably low level, the center of sexual education was opened on the island. Moreover, even hotels have joined the case: they had special employees helping to overcome the stiffness and shame of young couples.

At the initiative of one of the universities of Seoul in 2002, 20 sculptors began to create works for the future park, which was opened two years later. It covers an area of about two football fields, and all the sculptures can be safely bypassed in an hour. Besides, besides the permanent exhibition, there are also exhibitions of works by contemporary Korean artists in the park, changing every month.
Visitors to the park must be at least 18 years old.

Visitors of any age have fun here.
Those who are worried about the moral education of small Koreans, the organizers of the park rush to reassure: the park allows visitors only over 18 years of age, and for children a small playground (quite decent) is provided, where you can play while adults are exploring new bed piles carved into marble.

Despite the evocative theme of the park, its purpose is certainly not at all the spread of pornography, but the destruction of existing taboos around sexual life.
