On the photo: Jude Law and Carrie Coon
On the horizon, there was another curious project called The Nest, starring Jude Law and the star of the TV series Fargo and The Left Behind Carrie Coon, reports Empire.
In the director’s chair is Sean Durkin, known for independent films “Marta, Marcy May, Marlene” and “James White.” He wrote the script.
The film’s genre is described as a mixture of family drama and psychological thriller. Jude Law will play Rory, an ambitious British entrepreneur who brings his American wife (Carrie Coon) and children to England to start hunting for new business opportunities there.
Applying the style of suburban America for Britain in the 1980s, they settle in an English manor and live, as they say, beyond their means. Isolated from society, the spouses begin to delve into themselves and move along the path of obvious self-destruction. And both are not sure that their relationship can survive.
Financially the film is supported by FilmNation Entertainment and BBC Films. Distribution rights will be sold at the upcoming film market as part of the Cannes Film Festival.
Carrie Kun can now be heard in the movie “The Avengers: The War of Infinity” (if, of course, look at them in the original), where she voiced the villain Proxy Midnight, one of the daughters of Thanos. And Jude Law will appear in the image in the image of Albus Dumbledore in the movie “Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald”.
